Diego Desantiago has achieved remarkable accomplishments in the field of music. He served as the Drum Major at Eastlake High School for two years, showcasing his leadership and conducting abilities. Diego expanded his musical horizons by competing in World Guard International with Ethereal Winds Independent as the Horn Sergeant, where the group achieved an impressive 3rd place in the world. As he continued his musical journey he marched with the Colts in Drum Corps International. Along with his marching arts experience he has played with numerous amounts of mariachis and has been taught by some of the top-tier artists in the industry. Diego is pushed and motivated by his teachers and mentors Caleb Tullius and Manny Gonzalez who strive to better El Paso’s youth music throughout the city. Diego's talent extends to composition and arranging, where he has contributed his creative skills to Band and Mariachi music.
